School Transformation
BEL is also involved in School Transformation Projects wherein we work with schools across the country which are struggling with issues such as low student achievement, dissatisfied parents and disempowered teachers. Our aim is to work with these schools and transform the teaching & learning processes so as to make learning more effective and relevant for the students.
As a result of our interventions the quality of teaching improves and achievement of each student improves. The transformation happens for the teachers who become more reflective in their teaching and for the students who become more independent, confident and capable learners. In other words a formerly teacher centric classroom transforms into a more student centric one. To make this transformation a reality, BEL provides the school with detailed curriculum plans, assessment tools and teaching resources and also provides intense teacher training and support.
